Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. You will either sign a onetime project or a three-month contract depending on your requirements. After three months we will have a review and decide if we would like to keep working together then we would sign a contract for a year.

We also ask all our clients to sign a confidentiality agreement and a non-disclosure. We take our privacy and that of our clients very seriously.

How do I work with you?

After you contact us, we will send you an appointment email to book a quick call to go over your requirements and answer any questions you may have.

After our call you will be sent a quote with a scope of work for you to review and accept or request changes.

 Once the Quote is accepted, we go thought the onboarding process of signing a contract, non-disclosure and a confidentiality agreement. We have an onboarding call and then get down to business!

Can I cancel my contract anytime?

Three-month contracts require two weeks’ notice. Year-long contracts require four weeks’ notice and one-time projects can stop immediately. The 50% upfront fee on onetime projects is non-refundable.

How am I billed?

Hourly and packages are billed on the first of the month for the previous month’s work. First-time projects are 50% due upfront and the remaining 50% upon delivery.

Invoices are issued through QuickBooks and are due within ten days of receipt. You can pay your invoice via cheque, email money transfer or credit card.

Where are your Virtual Assistants located?

We take pride in being a Canadian business, all our Virtual Assistants live in Ontario in EST.

Do you answer phones and take incoming calls?

No, we do not offer reception services. We will make calls on behalf of our clients to their clients, service providers or whomever we are required but do not make cold calls or reception service.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are insured for Errors and Omissions and Cyber.

Will content you create for me be used elsewhere?

No content we create for you is 100% yours. No content or materials created for you will be used anywhere. On occasion we may ask permission to use pieces in our portfolio or as an example. Express permission is always obtained prior to sharing.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?

No, we do not. Unlike other virtual assistant companies, we have no minimum. If you need help, no matter how small we are here.

How do you track your time - do you round up?

We use a program that allows us to clock in and clock out for each task we perform. Packages have time pre-built into them. The timer does not round up and tasks are timed by the minute.

What are your rates?

Do you charge HST?

Yes, HST is applied to all services, packages and hourly rates.

How do you keep passwords and other confidential information secure?

We use programs like LastPass that allow you to share access to your programs without our virtual assistants being able to see the passwords. If you stop working with us, you don’t need to change all your passwords just untick the box and we no longer have access. If you change your password it will automatically update it on our end as long as you save it to your LastPass.

Credit card information is only stored in QuickBooks.
